The letter is below the photo, again, with names protected. I learned something this week about "pretty" stationary
that you put in a printer for Christmas letters, etc. First off, most have resources online for custom-to-the-stationary templates so you can write a letter without having writing on the pictures. Secondly, if you buy the stationary at a bargain store (like a dollar store), it is most likely a discontinued design and -poof!- no templates exist to help with printing anymore. The letter below took some creativity to get printed correctly. As much as I'd like to think I won't use pretty stationary again because printing was a pain, I think I just may. Every now and then, it's kinda fun. Admit it, the snowmen are pretty festive.

I am still waiting for a reply from my adopted soldier. My roommate can vouch for it, I have never been this diligent about checking the mail... ever. If I don't hear back from him soon, I will be sending over 22 Christmas cards for his platoon (19 plus a few extra) that have nice notes in them, but no names on the envelopes. Saying a prayer that a letter arrives in the next couple days with at least the first names of the members of his platoon so I can personalize the cards. If not, at least I tried. When I do get a letter back, I have faith that it will be well worth the wait.
Letter #3 ready to send!!! |
